Melanie is a graduate of Brigham Young University. She received her physician assistant training at Rochester Institute of Technology in New York. She has been working as a certified physician assistant since 2002. Her professional interests include well-child care, injury management including sutures as well as treating childhood anxiety, depression and attention deficit disorders (ADD/ADHD). Melanie has particularly enjoyed watching children and families grow and progress developmentally over time.
Some of Melanie’s personal interests include volunteer medical service. She has enjoyed volunteering her skills in community clinics and on service trips to Thailand and Mexico. She also enjoys being outdoors: hiking, camping and mineralogy (rock hounding).
