Biography
Ally Doxey, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant practicing orthopedic surgery at Salt Lake Orthopedic Clinic located in St. Mark’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Ally graduated from the University of Utah with her bachelor’s in biology and chemistry before continuing into her PA education at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, MT. Ally became passionate about orthopedic care after a devastating ankle injury requiring extensive orthopedic surgery. As a former collegiate athlete, she finds great joy in helping others maintain a healthy and active lifestyle by treating everything from chronic aches and pains to aiding in complex spinal surgeries. Ally is a huge believer in making patients an active participant in their care through good communication and education. It’s very important that her that patients are treated as people rather than just their diagnosis. Her goal is always for patients to leave their appointments with thorough knowledge and understanding of their problem and how it can be correct. Ally still loves to play soccer and ski with her husband in the winter. In the summer they can be found camping and hiking with their two miniature Aussie, Taco and Olive.
