Dr. Gordon Duval is a board-certified pediatrician by the American Board of Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He was introduced to the world of healthcare in 2001 when he became an Emergency Medical Technician at the age of 17.
He has served as Chief of Pediatrics, Nursery Director, and Chief of Staff at two hospitals. He is a credentialed Child Abuse Specialist with Primary Children’s Hospital and volunteers at the Tooele County Children’s Justice Center to care for children suffering from abuse and neglect.
He graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science, fostering a passion for healthy living and promoting lifestyle changes to achieve optimal well-being.
He was born in Provo and raised chiefly in Orem. He now resides in Stansbury Park with his wife and five children. His hobbies include swimming, Ballroom dancing, and being outside.
His leading function is that of a primary care pediatrician. He enjoys facilitating healing and improved functioning in children who struggle with infections, asthma, learning disorders, developmental delays, genetic disorders, ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, failure to thrive, and childhood obesity.
Dr. Duval believes the ideal pediatrician functions as a healer and a teacher. For this reason, he enjoys working with new parents as they navigate the challenges and celebrate the happy moments of motherhood and fatherhood.
